Composition

No hazardous chemicals or CAS numbers are specified for this product.

Hazard Identification

This product should be stored in a tightly closed container in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area, away from incompatible substances. Users should wash thoroughly after handling and use with adequate ventilation. Dust generation and accumulation should be minimized. Contact with eyes, skin, and clothing should be avoided, as well as ingestion and inhalation. For protection, wear appropriate safety goggles (per OSHA 29 CFR 1910.133 or EN166), protective gloves, and suitable protective clothing. Respirators should be used according to OSHA 29CFR 1910.134 or EN 149 when necessary.

First Aid Measures

In case of ingestion, if the victim is conscious and alert, administer 2-4 cupfuls of milk or water and seek medical aid immediately. For inhalation, remove the person to fresh air immediately. If not breathing, perform artificial respiration; if breathing is difficult, provide oxygen and seek medical aid. For skin contact, flush skin with soap and water for at least 15 minutes and get medical attention. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse. In case of eye contact, flush eyes with water for at least 15 minutes while lifting eyelids and seek immediate medical help.

Fire-Fighting Measures

Firefighters should wear a self-contained breathing apparatus (MSHA/NIOSH approved) and full protective gear. During a fire, irritating and highly toxic gases such as carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide may be released. Extinguish using water spray, dry chemical, carbon dioxide, or appropriate foam.

Accidental Release Measures

Use appropriate personal protective equipment. Clean up spills immediately. Sweep up or absorb material and place it into a clean, dry, sealed container for disposal. Avoid creating dust and provide ventilation during the cleanup process.

Handling and Storage

After handling, wash thoroughly. Use the product with adequate ventilation and minimize dust. Avoid direct contact with eyes, skin, and clothing, and prevent ingestion and inhalation. Keep containers tightly closed when not in use and store them in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area away from incompatible materials such as strong oxidizers.

Exposure Controls and Personal Protection

Exposure may cause irritation of the digestive tract if ingested. Inhalation can cause respiratory tract irritation. Skin exposure may result in irritation, and eye exposure can cause irritation. The toxicological properties have not been fully investigated.

Physical and Chemical Properties

The product is a solid composed of black shiny crystals. pH ranges from 9 to 10. Vapor pressure, vapor density, evaporation rate, and viscosity are not available. Melting point is approximately 300°C. Solubility and specific gravity/density data are also not available.

Stability and Reactivity

This product is stable under normal temperatures and pressures. It should not be exposed to incompatible materials such as strong oxidizing agents, and dust generation should be avoided. Decomposition may produce carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide. Hazardous polymerization has not been reported.
